Tomato "Casanova".
The most unusual tomato in the greenhouse! Long (20 cm), funny, and incredibly productive.
A mid-ripening multi-fruited variety for greenhouses, which delights with its exotic shape and record-breaking yield.
Characteristics:
Bush type: Indeterminate (tall), reaching 2 meters. Requires mandatory staking.
Fruits: Intensive red, very elongated (up to 20 cm), ending in a funny forked tip. Average weight 150-200 g.
Flesh: Very dense, practically seedless, meaty.
Variety value:
1. King of Canning: Thanks to their elongated shape, tomatoes fit perfectly into jars vertically ("like soldiers"), saving space. The skin does not burst when poured with boiling water.
2. Yield: 5 large fruits are formed in each truss. Total productivity up to 12 kg/m².
3. Storage: Fruits stay fresh for a long time and transport excellently.
Agrotechnics:
Sowing for seedlings: mid-March. Planting out: greenhouse — mid-May, open ground — early June (seedling age 60-65 days).
Care: The plant is trained strictly to 1-2 stems, side shoots (suckers) must be removed. Responds well to watering and mineral fertilizers.
Protection: To prevent late blight and other nightshade diseases, it is recommended to treat with bio-fungicides (e.g., "Fitosporin") at the beginning of summer or at the first signs of disease.
